Think of a character and answer a few questions, it WILL know who it is. This is like 'Holy Shit How Did You Know That', and I'm not drunk.

hmm, i thought of Ilmarinen from the kalevala, and it guessed Väinämöinen. pretty close!
not obscure enough i guess

when you defeat it, it asks you to 'introduce' the character to it. nice!

Aha! so that's how it works. The thing can 'learn' without users having to maintain vast amounts of data, and it can probably fill in the blanks by asking random questions when it knows the correct answer. Very smart, almost like an AI.

Have you never seen the 20 questions thing? I have one, it's this little ball with [yes] [no] [maybe] [don't know] and you think of something and it asks you 20 questions which you answer with those buttons and at the end it (99% of the time) guesses correctly what you were thinking...

I've always wondered how those things work...

I find this more accurate. It got Aziz from A Passage to India and I thought that was pretty clever. He also got Ben Bernanke, even though I didn't know the answer to a lot of the questions.
