this is about bell shapes and z-scores any help is greatly appreciated just need someone to verify i did the right thing..

the question is about 'time taken to pad up for cricket' and the mean is 6min with standard deviation of 30 seconds.. the 2 questions that got me thinking where the one that said "Mr. Cricket took between 5 and 6.5min to pad up.." correct me if im wrong but what i did is look at the 5min.. 2 SD's so the 95% chunk.. use half of that so 47.5% for 6min-5min.. then that extra sd is half of the 68% chunk.. so 47.5%+34% = 81.5%.. that was my answer is that correct?

The second question was.. "mr cricket took 5min and 15 seconds to pad up, calculate z-score and give a rating"
I worked out 5min 15 seconds is 5.25min.. so z score is calculate by data value-mean/SD... so (5.25-6)/0.5 which worked out to be -1.5... from this i use the 2 sd bell shape curve.. and say that the time taken for mr.cricket to pad up is within the 95% as it is within the 2 sd's...

If anyone has any idea please let me know :) Thanks!
