Nature of Biology help

Hi guys,
Im having probs with this question:

Chapter Review 4

Question 4) Researchers are investigating ways in which red blood cells (rbc) can be used to deliver medicines to tissues. One technique under investigation involves sensitizing the rbcs to ultrasound., loading the cells with drugs and injecting the cells back into the ill person. Ultrasound waves are focused onto diseased tissue so that the rbcs burst when they reach this part of the body. Assuming that the technique is successful, what advantages does the technique have over injecting a drug into the bloodstream?

Any help would be appreciated...

Wouldn't that be that the drug would be released to a specific region and not others, meaning more medication is focused in one area and not others?

Well the main benefit is that the majority of the drugs can be sent only to where they're needed. This in itself has various benefits in that it prevents the drugs from going to other cells where they may have adverse side effects, and allows less of the drug to be used as you don't have to account for any wasteage.

i.e.
...prevents the drugs from going to other cells where they may have adverse side effects...

However, the way you said it is more clear I guess.
