If you are asking about what subjects I reckon is the hardest offered in VCE, I'd say Specialist Maths.

But if you're asking which subject is the hardest out of the ones I'm doing, I'd say Methods.

Bachelor of Science (Mathematics & Statistics) - Discrete Mathematics & Operations Research

Hardest in general or hardest to get an awesome SS for?!

It depends on the student - I almost failed year 11 methods (then dropped maths al together - wooo), yet got A+ on my english SACS and exam, even though in the poll so far, english is supposedly 33% harder than methods (in a way!)

I think Music especially is hardest to get an awesome mark in.

Of the subjects I've done, I found the workload hardest in LOTE and Art, and Art was the hardest to get a good mark in (though I got 40+ ... i had to work my butt off though)

There was quite a lot of work for history Revs too, but I loved it, so didn't think it was too hard!

I voted chemistry but now I think music would definitely be the hardest, or maybe something like art or studio arts.  Because there are some freaks out there who have worked their butt off in music their whole lives, and you're competing against them.

Omg english so badly.

Mainly because you have to love expressing yourself or doing that type of thing (that is analysing, presenting your POV, etc)

For me - and I'm sure a lot of other people - It's pure torture.

I would say definitely LOTEs! Pish at Specialist Maths being voted the hardest so far. Spesh is much more systematic.

I think eng, its really broad and there isn't one exact answer like maths/science n stuff.
But ppl really good with eng wont think the same thing.

English will be the hardest I think. But Sp. Maths should be pretty darn hard too.

I reckon english is the hardest because
-it scales down
-it counts in top 4 (more pressure to do well)
-SAC's weighting are 50%
-majority of the population do it(more competition)
-there is no right or wrong (not like maths)
-very broad
-i think it has the longest exam time of 3 hours (lose focus)
-it is also the first exam (this might not be a bad thing for some people)
