so while these are great netbooks i have an issue.

i have the u130 and it has win 7 on it, and they come with the recovery partition on it. but my issue is, that i have four partions

one is for C one is for D the third one is 100mb with no name and the fourth is 10gig with no name.

my problem being is that i installed ubuntu through windows and formatted. which left ubuntu in the boot manager but no longer on my laptop.

rebuilding the boot manager doesnt work. so i was thinking maybe it has somethin to do with the partions.

but any advice from anyone with the same netbook as me, or from anyone who knows their shit would make me really happy.

Did you have a duel boot or was it strictly Linux?
Just out of curiosity was it easy to fix with the partitions?

it was a dual boot, but the problem was, the grub boot loader didnt fuck off, and i couldnt get it to fuck off. but then, someone on irc in a linux channel helped me fix it. so now the grub loader is gone and its back to just being win 7
