That moment when u relize that the Socceroos only has one person in the whole country who is a starter in a top 5 football league in the world...... (Matthew Leckie)
Pretty much our main players play in the championship. We dont even have a starter in the epl

Likely consist of Spurs, Chelsea, Man U, Man C, Arsenal and Liverpool, as always. Things will also change given the transfer window.
1. Man City
2. Chelsea
3. Liverpool
4. Man U
5. Spurs
6. Arsenal
7. (close though) Everton

Coutinho would have left by now, it's dragging on, and after the shitshow against watford, Liverpool will want to hold on to him. Also Barca losing neymar is a blow for the move.

I think coutinho is done. It definitely isn't healthy to keep a player against their will - more than likely to impact his performance on the field which would mean a smaller fee when sold later and toxic for team chemistry.  L'pool is probably just trying to get the most out of barca (knowing that they are desparate to strengthen and replace neymar).

Coming from a Liverpool supporter, Coutinho could do worse things. He hasn't openly spoke out or criticized the club out of respect and because he appreciates what the club has done for him. He stayed and rose to the challenge when Agger, Suarez and Gerrard left. He's not young anymore, and sees this as his best opportunity especially when Barcelona is currently lacking in depth. If he forces a move, Liverpool have almost no choice but to sell because it's unhealthy to keep an unhappy player (while he loves the club, he wants to take this opportunity so he will be unhappy if the Liverpool denies him). It's unfortunate though because Liverpool doesn't have a quality alternative.

I'm convinced he is leaving, he wasn't included in the squad for Hoffenheim. Steven Gerrard once said to appreciate him while he is still at Liverpool.

Apart from that: Barca paid36 mill for Paulinho??!!

most liverpool fans just don't want to see him in a liverpool shirt again LOL

Gonna be so awkward  for liverpool since they came out with a statement a few days ago (hours before his transfer request):
Quote
‘The club’s definitive stance is that no offers for Philippe will be considered and he will remain a member of Liverpool Football Club when the summer window closes.’

Yeah wtf. Why did they sign Paulinho? I dont know if he can do well on a world class level after playing in the csl he probs can but it will take time to adapt. So overpriced

Liverpool are looking, Salah is a great signing

To be fair Paulinho has been one of the best players in the Chinese league and isn't one of players that gave up on their careers to play just for money. He still plays to win.

I doubt Barca will be able to get Countinho or Dembele unless they pay way overprice. Any signing as a replacement for Neymar was going to be bad anyway.

I think dembele to barcelona is all but done, he didn't go to training/didn't pickup phone calls so has been suspended by dortmund.  :D

Thoughts on the length of Ronaldo's suspension?

Imo, warranted, and he's lucky it wasn't longer.

definitely deserved, it protects the referees. Should have been longer imo not quite sure what would be suitable tho I think 12 games was the max.
Keep in mind it was only 4 games suspension for the "shove" although overall he is suspended for 5 games.

Anyone's thoughts on this weekend's fixtures?
