Another pointless thread.
How do you say DotA and why do you say it that way?

I always thought it was Dohhhhhhhhhhhh-tarrrrrrrrr but some crazy catlady says otherwise.

Since a lot of people on AN play/played DotA, I thought this would be a valuable thread.

Played LoL and DotA a bit at the start of the holidays. Most of my friends have moved on though so it's just not the same =/ Was great back then when I could come on literally any time of the day and have at least 4 friends on to run a game with. Anyone tried Monday Night Combat? Came out a few days ago. It's a FPS/DotA hybrid. Interesting concept and I think it has potential after many many patches but at the moment it feels a bit dry. Still a decent game to play though, especially for the price ($15).

HoN is really nice, especially with maxed settings + beast screen. I like how pro games are filled with pros .. even in public lobbies.

LoL is like the cartoon/kiddy version of DotA/HoN.

There's going to be a DotA 2 that's on steam soon, I think.

The problem with MNC is that everybody bought it for the TF2 hats and the multiplayer community will probably die by mid Feb. If it's still going then, I'll pick it up.
