Ever felt patronized by colleagues?

I had this feeling from when I did chem in year 12 when there was that sac involving the burette instrument and titration. I in a group of 3 including myself was asked if I wanted to use the burette and then I got asked if I knew how to use it. I found the "how to..." bit patronizing and the other colleague of mine said to the other let him get the feel of it. I found the "let him..." a bit patronizing as well. Felt patronized and condescended. Glad I'm finished with chem :tickedoff:.

Now for something a little more off topic with a funny twist. This still relates to my chem experience though. I did some stupid thing, I offered to volunteer to prepare some filter paper but I used PEN and not lead pencil to trace the circle to be cut out. Somebody said no no and I asked why not? Person replied it reacts referring to the ink from pen. I thought oh of course lol. So somebody else took over the responsibility and that person had like this "I better take over" sort of look.

Here's the funny thing you maybe waiting for, the "no no" from above shouldve been no no no... rapidly as in like from the funny annoying orange that goes "nuhnuhnuh" with tongue sticking out sideways
