Need new headphones for music.

I want to get a new pair of headphones for music (I use my phone as my media player cause I'm cool like that). Anyway, I don't want to spend more than 100, I was looking at these but I'm not sure LOL. Kinda noob in this department.

Hoping one of you guys can help .

I actually got the PX-100's. The Sennheiser HD218's have good bass.. but it felt a bit overwhelming.. Couldn't really hear any of the actual singing/rapping in my songs. I tried them on at JB hifi and I didn't like the bulky kinda feel either :/


Dev: One of the earphone things snapped.. then (I assume) a wire broke or something.. So I only get sound from 1 earphone. They were pretty beast though. Best 12 bucks I've ever spent.

Audio Technica ATH PRO700 GD. They come in gold, but those were limited edition
i mean if u wanna be seen with headphones, may as well make em good ones

i can vouch for Sennheiser  HD201, great sound, and really comfortable and not pricy

I got  the Audio Technica:ATH-ES7 (http://headphones.com.au/psingle?productID=226) for $110 on ebay (brand new), Bass is strong without being overwhelming and it looks good actually. Just remember if you are getting from JB, to keep the reciept, bought TDK's from them and the next day there was no sound from the left.....

For earbuds at $50, Yuin PK3 is your best bet. Just got mine a few weeks ago, better than all those shitty ass Senny earbuds I've owned throughout the years. You have to be careful with them though as the quality isn't great apparently - sound is still good. Don't get Beats, mediocre sound for a fucking shitload of money. You'd rather get iPod ones (stay away from these fuckers)

For headphones, A-T AD700's are bang for buck. Probably your best bet for under $200. I would stay away from Sennheisser unless you go budget ones for $30 as those are better anything you'd get from Logitech.

If you're willing to spend big get Beyer Dynamics, heaps of vouches over the net for those. Should be worth it if you're willing to pay around $300-500.

The Beats headphones screams skullcandy shit.
The PX100s were a decent choice, I dont think they offer very good isolation though.

I'm not a headphones fan - earphones are more my type - as I can keep them in my pocket!
But my pair of Sennheiser IE8's are amazing! Like their bass would outshine many headphones! They're probably 3-4x your budget but the cheaper version (IE6) are very decent!

yeah canal phones are known to have killer bass, better than headphones. be careful though, you won't be able to hear anything around you
