Do one, just to get an appreciation of the questions asked and get some general techniques for answering them etc.

I did 1.5 practice tests and I don't think it negatively impacted me

Nah, I doubt after about 3 that it will greatly improve your scores, but there are definitely certain questions that have particular approaches to them.

But as you say jane, it's not meant to be studied for :P

its pretty annoying when people like this , say theyve done shit, when quite obviously, they have bettered the people already posted on here.Of course, the expected next posts will be consoling him, and commenting about how not shit those scores were.

The main benefit of doing more practice is to get used to the kind of questions and also the time restrictions youll be placed under. The way the test is constructed means its testing how rapidly and accurately you can answer questions.

at least thats what i think

Haha I didn't mean you shouldn't be doing practice papers - obviously they will benefit you.

I was just trying to make myself feel better for having only done 1/3 of one :D

Obviously you don't see what my friends get.

Didn't mean to be cocky or arrogant in that post, and if it came out that way, I'm sorry, that wasn't my intention at all. Just a comparative to many people I know personally (not all mhs btw), who say they did a fair bit better. Hence my reaction. I could see how it could be taken that way, but again, that was not my intention at all. :(

People have a tendency to get quite defensive about scores and will often tell people they got something much higher, so don't believe everything you hear.

I haven't done many (three). On average, 80-95 percentile, got a 53 percentile once though (section 3 :o )

Not sure. Maybe acturial studies. Still undecided :(

But remember, I haven't done too much medentry, so those percentiles may not be accurate

Extensive prep isn't required if your already at the level. You'll probably do well naturally.
