Does it really matter if you use 2B or HB pencil on the UMAT?

Not sure about that..they may think its a pen if yours happen to look like one

So yes a pacer is a pencil. In fact it is a mechanical pencil :P

Umm...I think you missed the point. What I am saying is they might hassle you because your pacer LOOKS like a pen. If you don't mind having them suspect you then go for it

to be honest, its not their problem if you use a pen, you will just get 0 when the machine marks it.
they wont hassle you and if they really feel the need to, just show them its a pencil... its not like it gives you any sort of 'advantage' so they wont be looking out for it.

i would strongly recommend also bringing a normal pencil... maybe 3 or 4 sharpened ones hahahaha
