Also, editting still has the 250 character limit!

It's been fixed. Even before you said it. Therefore, I don't know what you're talking about. <3

It says it's 1500, before every time I edit it it just cuts everything after the 250 off.  =/  Have you tried testing it personally?

Did now. Forgot to change it in the database. I was staring at the code trying to figure out what I forgot.

Was removing the green background from sponsored ads intentional?

Scrap that, it's just the contrast on my secondary monitor is a bit dodgy- the colours looked the same o.O

It's still green. It's just lighter green. Your monitor is too bright! I can darken it.

Just as a bit of feedback, I'm already down to 500 pageviews left in under a day so perhaps more page views per $5 is in order? It'd cost me approx $75/month for advertising if it keeps going at this rate. Not saying that I need to permanently have a sponsored ad, but I'm just not sure if the number should perhaps be adjusted. Up to you guys. Otherwise chances are I'd just get sponsored during peak periods.

I think we'll have the option to disable sponsored ads showing on the homepage, which is where the bulk of your ads are being viewed. That means that you can set it so that your ads will only show up when people search for your subjects.

Also, I'll recredit you 1k ads when this takes effect and we get the kinks ironed out :P

Glad you like the new section! I remember being confused about which books to buy myself and I know I've seen countless posts on this topic.

Maybe we need a pen review section?

Yeah noticed with Shinny's ad that it he has credits taken out every time it comes on the homepage.

Rather than 1000 impressions, perhaps a lower amount of clicks? Or that just when someone's ad pops up  after a search? Homepage would make the deal not worth it for the customer

Yeh, I was thinking a click-based system would be more fair. Simply not showing the ad until a search is done is a bit pointless as well since many people would just scroll down the list and see what's available.

It does need some tweaking. Also keep in mind that when there are more sponsored tutors, you won't be the only one there... And the views will be divided amongst.

Speaking of which, how long does it take for us to appear as sponsored?

Should be instant. Did you order 2 lots of sponsored views? We received 2 payments from somebody with no tutoring ad. I was going to e-mail them tonight (only found out a couple of hours ago), but if that was for you, then that solves that mystery :P
