Have you tried looking at the student union site? They have the details of what's happening on each day.

Hello all so I've gone through nearly all the clubs and there is a couple I'm interested in. So during O'week will these clubs have like presentations I can go too? And do we sign up during Oweek?

Thanks!! :D
2013-2014:| VCE
2015-2018:| Bachelor of Science (Neuroscience) @ UoM
2019-X:| Doctor of Dental Surgery (discontinued)
2019 -2021:| Master of Physiotherapy

Currently: Physiotherapist working at a musculoskeletal clinic. Back pain, sore neck, headaches or any other pain limiting your study? Give me a PM (although please do see your personal health professional first!)

Any questions related to pathways towards studying dentistry or physiotherapy? Gimmi a PM!

They'll (most) will have stalls set up on South Lawn and North Court that you just walk around looking at. Often a few posters explaining what they do etc. You can sign up at O-week at their stall. Membership fees are normally a few dollars so it's a good idea to carry around gold coins or small notes to make it easier, they often run out of change.

Monday will probably be the very last day you could get into the co-op to get anything you need - if you don't do it by then, it will be chaos until week 3-4 of the semester.

Other than a labcoat would there be anything else I should look for in that store? The handbook only says the prescribed texts so IDK if there is anything else I'll need to get

I pretty much joined degree/major specific clubs so probably not much help. They can be good for experience/volunteering/projects as well.

If you haven't gotten your textbooks organised do that first, along with your lab coat and safety glasses and any stationery you want to pick up while you're there. There are other things you'll need but they generally don't come out until after week 1 so it's best just to wait for them. You'll be told more about these over the next couple of things, but look out for the following just in case:

BIOL10002:
- Workshop, tutorial and laboratory handbook (all in one)
Note: This will require a folder so pick one up if you need one.

CHEM10006:
- Laboratory booklet
- Tutorial booklet
- Special exercise book where you write on one page and your writing gets transferred onto a page underneath (lol I forgot what this book is called) - this is required for lab reports

MAST10011:
- Course handbook
2017-2020: Doctor of Medicine - The University of Melbourne
2014-2016: Bachelor of Biomedicine - The University of Melbourne

Hey guys if a subject is lectopia enabled, does it means the whole lecture (like video, sound, lecturer's whiteboard writing.etc) will be recorded? Trying to change my breadth to HIST10007 but its 2nd lecture clashes with COMP10001's 1st lecture and they both have only single lecture time although both lectures are lectopia enabled, is it possible if I went to one and watch the other one at home without missing any points?

Yes you'll be fine.

COMP10001 is recorded very well from my experience. Not surprising as it IS a subject about computers....
Thanks so much, that dispeled my concern. :) :)
