Hey guys, strange question.

I'm currently doing a direct application to Melbourne University from Monash University, but there is a question asking if I did any previous tertiary level studies.

However my years Monash Univeristy was not good, I failed 9 subjects in total so I don't want them to see it, but my ATAR from my VCE a few years back is more than enough to get into the course I want at Melbourne University.

So I was wondering if I can completely leave out my time at Monash Univeristy and only state my ATAR in this direct application.

Will they have access to my previous university information when they check my ATAR from VTAC?

Oh yeh, also I will NOT be applying for credit transfer, another reason I feel like UoM don't need to know about my past University results :|

Unfortunately they can get your results from VTAC for Monash. Also if you leave them out and UoM finds out they will rescind your offer, it has happened before.

Best of luck.

...

Don't fret too much. I personally didn't watch the physiology of pharmacology lectures and I survived. Plenty in the same boat. That said, I made the wrong decision not doing so. Life seemed to be a lot easier for those who did so it is a bit of a bummer that that option is no longer available!

What happens when classes you want to register in are full? Are anymore released?

Yes, the University will always provide enough classes to allow everybody who has enrolled in a subject to attend. It might take a while to find venues (and possibly teaching staff!) for extra tutorials etc, or to relocate a subject into a larger lecture theatre. But it will happen eventually. If you're worried, you could try contacting the subject coordinator, but chances are they're already aware of what's going on and working to fix it.

Is there any transport time between subjects?
I have a few classes right after each other in different locations, I won't have to leave early will I?

Not quite sure what you mean by transport time but lectures start 5 minutes later and end 5 minutes early.
I.e. if you have a 10am lecture on your timetable, the lecturer won't start until 10:05 and will end at 10:55. This will give you ~10 minutes leeway to get from point X to point Y.

I missed the word "time" in your sentence and thought you were asking if there were shuttles or busses that took you from lecture to lecture.

It's this kind of forward thinking that we need in our engineers. Applauding you from my desk.

Could someone please confirm or deny whether academic gowns from the following link will be accepted at graduations? Specifically, at Melbourne Uni:
