Essentially I think they're trying to split it up so you can major in micro or immuno, you can still do both though. So they're changing subjects and things around a bit. Don't know if that's why yours changed a bit or just due to new staff.

WAT. And here I thought I had my major all planned. Now I have to choose between them both?!
Are we still able to do the combined major...? :/

but omg I was so so underprepared for my other exams. There was that feeling of regret in the Maths exam where I was completely stuck on a question and thinking to myself 'I saw this last night while cramming and skipped it because it seemed obscure and now it's gonna cost me 6 marks'. FML

THAT'S THE WORST PART.  Okay well: if I were you I would take them both.  They're both intertwined and it makes sense to study both the things that trigger an immune response and the response to those things (in my opinion).  I was so indecisive before I picked my major, and I was still overseas and all my exchange friends had to deal with me every day rolling around and being like 'omg I have to enrol in this quota subject nowwww if I want it, I have to send off my exclusion for RBP nowwww if I wanna major in Physiology D: But then I just decided to choose something I'd enjoyed and that would challenge me more and I have not regretted this decision - I find both subjects this semester really interesting so I think that doing both is a good idea for anyone.  BUT; if you just wanna do one, feel free!  And they might change the content of the subjects a bit when they do this.  Dude, so many majors centred around Path/Immuno/Micro now it's intense it's freaking me out.

I'll just warn you that Immuno is hard, Principles of Immuno is pretty difficult to do well in so if you care at all about your GPA in Year 3 (eg some of you might want to apply through GEMSAS this time next year) I'd advise having buffers (so this semester I have Biochem and Neurophys which are relatively easy compared to my core subjects).

Yeah, I think if I go down that path I would choose both for that reason, to have a solid knowledge of both and how they work together. I'm still not sure yet though but I've got it down for next semester. Just have to hope I don't stuff up this exam

Thivvy I did it. I got 87 in it and I'm not that smart. It is pretty dry compared to sports coaching for example. The work load is minimal, and if you don't mind writing a few essays, I'd recommend it, despite to being a bit dry!! I would say it is easy to do well in.
