Not trying to sound like a hero, but all of my subjects are maths/physics/engineering and I honestly don't bother making a timetable on timetable day. I just wait until a few days later, work out which tutes I want to go to, rock up to those tutes and tell the tutor they are the only ones I can make because of work and then they add me to the list. It's far far more flexible than you think.

Good idea. Don't know how that can be 100% taken as if you're trying to be a hero, it's more catering more specifically to your preferences. It's like sneaking to your preferred tutorial but doing so officially.

Wait what do you specifically mean by a VCE transcript?
Like one which lists the scores you obtained for each subject and your ATAR etc?

How do you think we should state our WAM/GPA on our CV/resume when applying for internships, grad jobs etc?
Since we don't have an official WAM/GPA system, should we just attach our academic transcript to the application? Or calculate one via Monash's system for example?
I'm not sure what to do, atm leaning towards just attaching the transcript.

Unless they ask, I wouldnt bother. Might look too pretentious. I just try to worm my average into the conversation during the interviews. Only people who will ask you about WAMs/GPAs are in grad positions.

If you have a good enough average I would include it.

I was just gonna ask that :P I reckon 70+ is definitely a good average and something you should be happy about.
But how do you go about calculating it? Add it all up and divide by number of units? Or weight it as well? lol

Depends a lot on what you're applying for. If it's just your generic CV, then yeah I put my WAM from undergrad on mine. If it's above 80 then you can just say "first class honours average" which sounds good.

I've found it's really easy to get away simply saying I have a "distinction average", even thought my GPA is only like 70 lol

From the VCAA website:

What's the occasion? Maybe someone here can help you out.

Maybe you could email them to get a more definite answer.
