It's not that important to attend unless you have doubts/confusions about the lab report :) I find most of my doubts get cleared through the LMS discussion board anyway! :)

Anyone who's done HSF, how useful are the ADSLs? Like would you only bother consulting them if you don't understand something?

Flora/Fauna's terrestrial botany segment has ended, actually so sad :'(
I thought I absolutely hated botany but this subject has made me change my mind big-time V:
(Also the trip around uni to look at plants was surprisingly good, Emma Lewis is the best and also the System Gardens are beautiful ;w;)
So glad I chose this over Calc 2, if anybody's looking for a future subject to use as a filler during 2nd/3rd year you should totally take BIOL10001.

Pretty useful, add them to your notes. I suppose they give you an indication of how much detail you're expected to know.
If you check my review on the subject in reviews & ratings, almost all of the diagrams we had to label in the exam came out of the adsls (a small minority were from the lecture notes). Know them well!

Are you like me and have not had enough time to look at them yet hence why you are asking this question?

Um I would definitely do them.  Mostly because, for anatomy at least, it's not about 'understanding' things so much and more about memorising a load of facts.  You need to know the context in which to do that.

lol jason the anatomy guy is apparently encouraging people to understand the content and not simply memorise. Yep don't listen to him everyone!!!

In other news, i'm finding the physiology concept checks pretty hard -_- I want to get 10/10 on them thoughhh

Depends. Understanding the anatomy will be about a billion times more important if you ever need to apply it in any way but if all you're doing is a (written) exam, you can get away with not understanding and just memorising.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who gets terrified when the new LMS gives you a mark notification? There's that little icon of a page with a tick and that evil red "1" beside it and I can't bring myself to click it whenever it appears D:

I kind of like the system in terms of marks but the numerous updates are annoying. They should do it for marks only.
