I know it means I have fewer subjects later on (I also have a four year degree thanks to my diploma so my timetable will be fucked up no matter what), but all the subjects are directly relevant to subjects in my major in some way or another and so I'd rather have the knowledge from them before I take the third-year subjects.

 I can't bear to get rid of things though, it took me all of this entire year to cut out about fifteen majors and now I've cut down over thirty subjects to eight and I don't really want to sacrifice any more of them (I don't think I'm going to exceed my 300 point limit). If it's terrible I can always take Enviro Chem in third year and Analytical/Environmental immediately after that since I should have the space for that, going off what my plan looks like so far.
The subjects I was thinking of doing in second year were:
Fundamentals of Cell Biology
Australian Wildlife Biology -> v. recommended
Animal Structure and Function -> have to take
Environmental Chemistry
Biochemistry and Molecular Biology -> recommended
Ecology -> have to take
Comparative Animal Physiology -> have to take
Four of those are Semester One only, and I have to do a German subject for my diploma each semester (I'm taking a summer breadth and then I'll have openings for my other breadth in later years so fitting those in isn't a problem).
After typing all this I think I might do Enviro/Analytical + Enviro in third year together since the second subject follows on from the first and I'd probably forget it all over the course of an entire year.
But then there's a botany subject I want to do as well and there's just too much choice oh god D: Why can't I do a double degree in Science/Science ;_;
sorry for babbling incoherently
