Haaaaaaa hobittle and scribble; the Melbourne University Biomedical Engineering Society is called M.U.B.E.S. n______________n

Oh my gosh simpak please post photos!!!!!!! Mice are AMAZING. A fortnight ago I caught a wild mouse in my apartment, and left her overnight in a lunchbox with perforations which I upturned onto a flat surface. Her name was Redmond Barry and we were going to be best friends 5eva after I bought a cage and toys the day after. I woke up to find she had chewed her way out, and these the only photos I have left of her u______u. I've been to a few pet stores since but I resent all of the mice I've looked at so far...>:/ When I do find the perfect one, she's going to be named Richard Berry ♥ And she'll be brown just like Redmond Barry and nobody will be able to tell the difference between Richard Berry and Redmond Barry

I'M NOT ASKING FOR ANY OF YOUR MICE FYI

lulz so a shapeshifter sitting on the right side of the lecture theatre. Gotcha.

I'm Asian but coming from Melb that's probably not much help.

MAYBE THE RIGHT SIDE I am happy just getting a seat @_@

Do you have a green and purple striped hat adorned with pompoms?

Cuuuuuuuuuteeee!  I wish I could take photos but I can't take a phone to visit them.  Also if I interact with mice elsewhere (eg catch them in my home) i'm meant to not go work there for 48 hours during a 'quarantine period'.  So I hope I don't accidentally interact with Redmond Barry anytime soon.

I live across the road from 1000 acres of farm land... I'm never working in a lab then :|

The reason there is no holiday is something to do with the fact that Labour day isn't a national holiday.  Ie the date differs between states.
Only things where it's the same holiday in all states (eg Good Friday, ANZAC day) are granted as uni holidays by Melb.
Idk why RMIT allows for Labor day though, they tend to recognise many Victorian holidays...

The reason for the labour day holiday for rmit stems from its tradition as the "working man's" college. Thats what i was told when i attended.

It's somewhat bullshit though given that Labour day only exists because UniMelb was the worst employer in the world...
