Yeah got mst results back for biol10002... 22/25 not over the moon idk don't really care though. It's just frustrating because I wanna know what I got wrong but I don't know if we get any feedback. Is there some way we can reread the questions to see what we did wrong?

Edit: I got a question wrong that only 3 people in my entire prac group got wrong. Hahahaha. Why. Just why.

Hey that's a great score xenial! I got 23/25 - one question I'm not surprised I got wrong, the other I think must have been me colouring in the wrong box when I meant to colour in another one. -.- These results really don't have an impact on the final subject mark and us two only need to pass for first year anyway. I know like me you're not aiming for just a pass but hopefully you'll see that it isn't too bad at all. :)

Same thing happened to me - I got it back maybe 2-3 practicals later. I think my demonstrator from my make-up prac gave it to my actual one.

Ah, thanks. I just wanted to make sure one of my reports didn't get lost! :)

Creeping back onto the forum to post, the MST info on my bio page says that "The 10 tests will be displayed on the Level 4 Noticeboard with the correct answers highlighted from Wednesday 16th April", does this include a printout of the actual questions, if anyone remembers? (btw, I got an annoying 22, and I too want to know what I got wrong.)

I needed to sit a make up practical for Chemistry last week and I don't know how to get my report back. My actual demonstrator didn't know and didn't have the paper.

I've seen an orange cabinet type thing with shelves next to the chem reception desk (right aside the labs), and I think that's a place where demonstrator's leave pracs for make-up students. Maybe?

Oh, really? 10 tests though? Are we doing the same subject haha? I dunno, that guy above said you don't get anything.

Holy shit. I'm amazed you can remember the questions. I don't really mind about the mark :) (And you shouldn't too! Just learn because you're interested, not because you want H1's. It's a liberty not many people have). It's more a surprise because I thought I knew my stuff quite well, and was actually pretty confident about 2/3 questions I got wrong. Well done!

I think the 'ten' tests are the different versions of the test they had for the different times, I don't really know whether the questions were actually different though, and also, my results were for bio10004, which I just realised is different to yours.

Ah okay. Yeah we only had 5 so I was a bit confused.

Also Stephen, (or you Holmes, now I think about it..) have you done prac 5 for chemistry? I'm really confused about how a glass pH electrode works. Do we need to know much about how it works?/Is there a good explanation anywhere in the book?

Yep, did it yesterday. There is no need to understand how it works whatsoever and I made little attempt to do so. :P My only advice is as always to complete as much of the practical report as possible before going in since this one goes down to the wire. You can answer all the questions without needing to perform the experiment, except for questions 4, 7 and 8. We took too long doing part 1 but doing this saved us time and allowed me to finish early. Also, try not to take too long with part 1 - it's only supposed to be rough so move quickly even if it isn't accurate. Good luck. :)

I really, REALLY love uni life.
I'm not 100% sure whether it's just Melb Uni, but I feel like uni offers such a balanced lifestyle in terms of studying and having fun. Also SO MUCH FREEDOMMMMM

Today, my day went like this:

- Woke up at 9, forgot I had a lecture at 10 am
- Arrived at uni at 10:30 and just skipped that lecture
- Mates at RMIT (from high school) had a break from 11-12:30pm so just caught the tram to their campus and chilled with them playing pool
- Came back to uni, stepped on south lawn and saw a fully inflated dodge ball stadium XD
- Got free lunch, 4 free beers and a few redbulls while watching a relatively intense tournament of dodgeball.
- Tournament finished perfectly at 1:55pm for me
- Had a 2.5 hour physics practical from 2-4:30pm

And then the usual, 45 minute journey home, going to gym, having dinner, etc. Caught up with the lecture I missed just now.

Uni life is AWESOME

So happy that you're happy n_n Wait, is that 4 beers in one go or-

If that was 4 beers in one go, I bet you smashed the physics practical.
