God bless anyone who can read my written short answer questions for genetics, health & society <3
If I didn't get through the multiple choice questions during reading time I would have been screwed
& I think I circled REB more than twice trying to find my seat, before it occurred to me to ask an invigilator  ::)

Thank you Balz and El! As for the current moment, this is probably going to be my breadth for the semester.

'ballz' omg I love it, please call me that during Living Longer <3 I have long dark hair, pale, average build if slightly tall, pink or red lipstick. If you see me in the lecture just shout out 'YO BALLZ'.

Jeez just read about how bad the weather is in Melbourne, glad I came home on Saturday...

three different trees in three different suburbs fell over on the way to my commute, which meant I juuuuust made it to my exam thank goodness <33

All done. Struggling to fill the gaping hole in my life. Anyone got some Selley's?

ikr, time to find a place that will employ me for <6 weeks

After enrolling in roughly 45,793 subjects for breadth this coming semester, I've come full circle and tried to reenrol in The Secret Life of Language. However, since I enrolled in Marine Botany, the study plan is confusing November with Semester Two, and thinks I'm attempting to enrol in six consecutive subjects. I can't go to the student centre to fix this until Monday of Semester Two; I think it's a sign telling me that overloading is a bad idea.

can you not, levi

omg I panicked and chose that question as my last question, then realized my mistake ahaha
I filled the gaps with examples, but they were overly dramatic examples involving some people who have the BRAC1 mutation who decide to have mastectomies may never have developed breast cancer even without that preventative measure. I hurriedly scribbled something better near the end about how some people will have side effects on hypertension medication despite not all being destined to develop heart disease but idfk

I wrote two words for that and I was like nup going to do the question about buffers.
He explained that in a sentence during the lecture hahaha
I was in such a state of panic in the last 15 minutes, there was so much you could write about for each "short answer" question!

Note to self: Whenever i'm presented with a question and i'm stuck at 50/50, always choose the answer which i'm less confident about.
I ALWAYS CHOOSE THE WRONG 50.
This was about the HLA thing Genetics folks.

Such a troll question. I saw it and instantly guessed...but it was a lucky guess lmao

I hurriedly scribbled something better near the end about how some people will have side effects on hypertension medication despite not all being destined to develop heart disease but idfk

I started writing and then I saw briefly underlined and I was like uh wtf.

I did manage to bullshit a paragraph explaining it, and then I talked about mammogram screening for BRCA or something and how we tend to use the screening for the predisposed andthe age groups at higher risk more frequently, rather than applying it to every woman. I guess you could also talk about vaccines too even though it wasn't on the lecture slides. I also waffled on about the cost-effectiveness and yeah had no idea what else to write...

This letter took six days to travel one postcode from uni, so it might just be slow to arrive, fingers crossed :)

CONGRATS LEVI!!!! YOU GUN!!!  ;D

What sort of average do you need to get to be on the Dean's list?  :)
Mine from last semester was 84%.
If I want to get on it, how much higher do I need to get this year?
