For anyone who's done BCMB30002, I noticed in the first 4 weeks there is a computer-based tutorial. I have a clash with another subject's lecture, which is also a midsem for that subject in the 4th week. Is it possible to not attend one of the tutorials, or possibly do the work at home?

The tutorial is a fairly new thing, so I can't say too much about it...but I reckon you're probably best to get onto the subject coordinator about that. I think there's some assessment from the tutorial?

The ceremony for BCom Dean's Honours List is usually mid to late March. The invitation to the ceremony (which is the only notification you get that you're on the list) is usually sent out 3 or 4 weeks before this.

Good luck!

A follow-up question: will subject prizes be held on the same date, and winners notified at around the same time? Thanks

is it hard to change subjects in the beginning of the semester? i'm getting cold feet about psychology but is it worth the hassle of playing catch up for one week of content for two subjects AND coordinating meetings with professors, etc.?

Nah pretty easy to be honest, I once changed subjects around 3 weeks in and found it fine. A weeks' worth of content is a lot easier to catch up than spending a semester studying something that you really dislike

It really depends on how much you want to change, too. If you’re sure that psychology is bad for you and would be a lot happier doing something else, then maybe that little bit of extra work will be worth it?
