Anyone have any tips for what I should try to get done on Academic Advice Day Wednesday week?

One thing I know I need to do is to confirm some questions I have regarding the different concurrent diplomas.

Is it sad that I've known my first year study plan for over a year? :P

For anyone who cares/has advice, what I'm planning to do next year is do two English subjects, one Economics subjects, one Creative Writing subject, and one Politics subject. English will almost definitely be one of my majors, and the second will probably come out of one of the other three areas. Then on top of that I'll do an Arts Foundation subject and Chemistry breadth.

Any notes?

A lot of the intro subjects run only in first semester, are you sure your plan fits?

Yep, I've researched them all (: So at least at the time I last checked I was able to formulate a structure that worked.

I'm doing ACCT10001 and ACCT10002 this year as part of UMEP, but I've heard you can sneak into other lectures? Is this true? I'm interested in going to the ECON10004 lecture :P

Are there prerequisites for breadth subjects? For instance I want to do a BA with a physics breadth (astrophysics related, my weird interest :p) but I haven't done physics as a VCE subject. Or is it better to pick something that at least sort of compliments my main subjects? Also I was looking at the subjects under Arts and I was wondering if I should take the law/justice minor since I want to do the JD afterwards - will that give me a headstart? Or should I just stick to my interests (philosophy/psych)? I'm probably thinking too far ahead haha.
ALSO, is anyone doing first year philosophy?! Kind of intimidated to go to lectures with older people <_>

You'd have to do physics fundamentals (but not many people take this for interest reasons, it's badly taught and i've heard of a few failing). I'd check out subject reviews & ratings on the UoM board when you are about to start your first year.

If there is actually no risk I will be doing this rather often haha.
