Yeah I saw that but I'm just looking out for some confirmation like that post for the sciences (:

Good luck with the LSATs by the way! Did you take them in your first year too?

O-week: the first thing you do on Tuesday will be meeting up with your host group, at a pre-arranged point on the campus. If he/she hasn't already, your host should soon contact you with details on where to meet. Then you'll get a tour of the campus - hopefully your tour host is knowledgeable and personable.

After that, you're free to do as you please - there are several information sessions that are recommended, but not compulsory, to attend. And there's plenty of free merchandise to grab also.

By the way, I've just come across a blog that talks about various uni subjects/aspects of campus life. First years take note but avoid if crazily over-excited language annoys youhttp://unimelbadventures.wordpress.com/

The Finnish word pilkunnussija, which translates literally to “comma fucker,” is someone who risks his social wellbeing to annoyingly and persistently point out punctuation errors.

Does an H1 (80%+) equal a GPA of 7.0, and an H2A (75%+) equal a GPA of 6.5? I was told by a fellow biomeder that you need to get 85%+ to get a 7.0...

What if you chose "easy subjects"? Wouldn't it be unfair to those who chose or are forced to take harder subjects?

edit:(I just quoted from 2011... oops)

Nope, I'm taking them in about 4 months, so I really have to start dedicating a couple of hours a day for studying!

I want to keep my options open for Law after my BSc(Eng.Sys). Even though I'm very, very happy with engineering, I've always wondered about law. I'm going to use some of the breadth spots to undertakes some subjects with the MLS and see what it's like.

However, right now I'm planning on taking the M.Eng for my 4th and 5th years at university.

Aren't you at Monash? Regardless, go to the admin tab on the student portal and search for "withdraw or enrol in courses" or something. It will be there. Then you just allocate which courses you want to withdraw from.

Cross Grattan Street, then walk through University Square to the Law Building.  Waiting at the lights on Grattan Street will probably be the biggest ball breaker though.
