lol I was listening to the recording of the revision lecture and he insinuated that a person was turned on during our discussion of neanderthal interbreeding with sapiens. Funny but also quite weird nevertheless

I feel like the cherry on top of listening to that lecture was the "if you guys want to have a cuddle do you mind doing it elsewhere?" in the middle of a practice question. Who knew genetics could heighten those type of emotions in some people

Does anyone know much about HECS? Heard recently that there's a limit on how much study you can put towards HECS-HELP. Also, how does it work for postgrad study?

The HECS-HELP limit was abolished two or three years ago, it is now uncapped.

Postgraduate has FEE-HELP, which works the same way, and is capped at approximately $100,000 depending on your disciplne of study.

In the extremely unlikely event that one was to do consecutive undergrad degrees (say Arts at UoM, and then Commerce subsequently), how would that work with regard to HELP? Both on HECS?

The poor girl asked a question about "the Hulk" and then explained she just wanted to know about intrebreeding between Neanderthals and Humans... then he said that :| Look on her face was priceless! hahaha

Both would be on HECS if you did that but you should probably just go straight from Arts into a Masters.

It all stays on HECS until postgrad.  I have done (basically) consecutive undergrad degrees.
