O__O oh gosh I hope the guy's okay. Things like this make me glad that the pracs we get are so safe ;u; wonder what he was trying to do though.

When colour/gender association first occurred back in the 1920s, pink was considered a signifier for men because it's colour of the blood and meat inside a kill when you're hunting. Blue was female because it's a 'more sensitive' colour. Interesting stuff.
XD I knew about that, but still. When faced with bathrooms that are pink and blue, ill habitually go to the pink ones without even looking at the sign. Yolotoohard

Talking about confusing toilets?

I dont know why but it happened to me 2 times, that I went to old art F wc and there were boys there! the funny thing was they were more freaked out than I was!

And about chemistry building fire thing...hope the student get well soon, but for the people in that building, maybe it was a sign that they should give more easy questions for chem2 exam next year:((

I was planning to do the level 1 sports coaching in the summer. It's an intensive 1 week one, so that way I can do 3 subjects in one of the semesters  ;D   Sounds like a good trade off to me.

Also with the anatomy quota of 425 students for 2nd year, what kind of average do you need approximately? And do they consider just bio subjects or everything? I did pretty good last sem, but this sem I slacked off so much so now I'm worried haha. Chem and bio were so hard :O

Bio's just considered. Over 70 you're guaranteed in, 65+ you can still confidently get in.

I'm not exactly sure, but a 65-70+ average would probably be ok for you.
The quota's only 300 students (though only sem 2) but I daresay less people are interested in this than anatomy.

The subject's not bad, I recommend it over Research based phys as a prerequisite for 3rd year physiology subjects; I've heard reviews about the RBP demonstrators being highly unprofessional.

In what way?

Eating in the lab, (somewhat) slacking off and giving contradicting advice/instructions?

Wasn't the case for my prac class. The demonstrators would stay back with us until we finished our work even if the prac class had officially ended.

Huh... For me the demonstrators were pretty good with work, like El said, they stayed back and helped us out and gave some advice on the prac reports and they were pretty funny too.

However i'm slightly inclined to agree with the conflicting information statement. This occurred a couple of times with writing up our 30% report, the lecturer would say one thing and then the demonstrators marking our report would say another, but this rarely happened and was easy to clear up as well.
