I'd like to ask a question about Easter Holiday based on your experience guys. Are those days really holidays, in a sense that you will not be burdened or stressed with assignments that happen to have deadline right after it? Or is it just basically like free study week, where the most you can do is to stay at home to study or to revise?

Yes as above it depends on your subjects.
If I have no assessment due after the break (or tests etc) I will spend half the holidays revising and doing some forward planning, and the other half with friends and family.
If I have assessment or tests, it's generally just like another SWOTVAC.

I would like to go visit someone from Academic Skills to get them to check my referencing for an assignment.

I just don't know where they are based (do they have a special room, or building or something?) and whether I can just drop in mid-morning on Thursday without booking an appointment?

thanks

For me, no - that Easter Holiday period wasn't a holiday. I always spent that week studying, catching up with all the lecture summaries, working on assignments etc. But it's good to take some time off during that week to relax before classes start again. Highly recommend spending a good day or two not doing anything uni-related.

Having read most of its old posts at one stage, I'm forced to conclude it isn't satire, and if it is, it's crossing the line between 'satire' and 'ignorant offensive rambling'.

Honestly, I had a quick read of the top post and make a noise that could only be described as the vocal equivalent of a cringe. It's just ugh

I'm so confused I don't even know when Easter is and I kept trying to schedule things on the 25th of April.
I even have coursework due on the 25th of April.

"Bachelor of Science (Honours)" - does the 'Honours' stand for 'we are honoured to make your life a living hell'?
