Does anyone know if we receive a copy of our transcript at graduation? I'd like to send mine off ASAP for a postgrad application, but I'd rather wait if I can save the $30 it costs to order one.

Nope, you'll need to order one unless it's changed since I graduated

Doesn't appear to be running in Semester 1 next year. This year it ran in both.https://handbook.unimelb.edu.au/view/2015/CHEN20007

They changed the course structure so that you take CHEN20010 - Material and Energy Balances in semester 1 and CHEN20011 - Chemical Process Analysis in semester 2.
Caused a bit of a headache on my own end as well (because I did have issues with pre reqs :P)

Does anyone know if there are workshop exemptions if you have to repeat ESD2? I know they have it in physics where they just use your previous semester's workshop grades and you don't have to show up.

Asking on behalf of someone. Cheers.

When I did ESD2 last year, a member of my workshop group was repeating but maybe he just didn't ask for an exemption. Couldn't hurt to email or speak to Gavin.

When you are doing honours, are you allowed to go to any classes you want (within reason)? I heard somewhere that you can attend classes you are not enrolled in, such as taking an extra language, to supplement your research & other honours classes.

Does anyone know anything about this?

Anyone here done ECON20002 Intermediate Microeconomics in summer or planning or to do it? I'm debating whether or not to do it in summer or just take it in Semester 1.

They'll mail a copy of your transcript after you graduate. But TBH, you're better off ordering one. Who knows how long it takes you will receive it in the post (we're coming to christmas time etc.). And make sure your address is up to date - they'll send your transcript to the address on the portal.

Some lecturers won't have a problem if you rock up to the class without enrolling, if that's what you mean.

I asked about doing a course that's not offered by my department for Honours (a chemistry course, I'll be doing biochemistry honours.) This is apparently possible on a case-by-case basis, but isn't really a common thing. I'd just contact the coordinator of the course in question. It would probably have to be a graduate/Honours level course (9xxxx or 4xxxx course code,) to qualify.
