Hi guys. my first time posting here, finally decided to sign up.

Has anyone done EDUC10051 (sport coaching) during the Feb intensive? I have questions about the pre readings that i'd like to ask.

I haven't taken the subject, but if the question is "do I need to do the pre readings", the answer is probably "no".

Thanks for the response.

They have 25 excerpts on the LMS Online Readings, but in the announcments it says "Readings for day 1:Please check the schedule and read the first two readings listed, these are available via the Readings Online link. "

Should I just email the co-ordinator? or the person who made the announcement?

Best to e-mail the person who made the announcement. I'm trying to make sense out of that myself lol

In Biomed, do people usually choose LVL3 BIOL subjects for their selective subjects in third year? Is it common to do LVL3 subjects that don't form your major or aren't core? I'm asking because I want to do PHRM20001 but it doesn't fit into my study plan for second year. Would it be weird doing it in third year?

Some majors require some lvl 3 selectives in third year so the majority of your third year selectives will be lvl 3. However if you've done 4 breadths already then you can just add on another selective in place of breadth in 2nd sem (and so you can do PHRM20001 in third year if you want to)

Like Shenzor said, you can pick to do 2 science selectives instead of doing breadths in your degree. There were many third year Biomed students in Genes and Genomes last semester (including me). You can even do a level one science selective if you haven't gone over the limit (no more than 10 subjects at level 1 for the total of your degree).

Hi guys,

I'm new to this forum but I've been a long time lurker!
I was wondering if anyone here has done UNIB10003 : Ecological History of Humanity?
If so, could you please PM me? :)

Thanks!

so are you doing the subject too?

EDIT: the person who made the announcements was the subject co-ordinator, so made no difference.

Melbourne literally has a level 1 subject where you can study Eurovision. I've found my home :')
(is it bad that I'm actually really tempted to take this subject?)
