Thoughts on finance and marketing as a double major for BCom? Do they compliment each other in anyway for future careers? etc etc

Question in regards to "Eduroam"

So I have access to Eduroam at Monash University and whenever I head to UoM, Eduroam pops up on my networks so would it be possible for me to access the Eduroam network at UoM and if so, how (or rather do I need to do anything before trying to connect)?

Eduroam works globally. I know for Monash at UoM I use [email protected] and my normal password.

Haha yeah it does work globally especially around the European nations which is pretty cool :D

And if you can access WiFi at UoM inputting in your Monash details then I'd assume it to be the same for me too (fingers cross it works tomorrow so I can do some work before the AN Biology lecture LOL).

Yeah I used eduroam at Harvard and McGill while I was in North America. I also use when I'm at Melbourne too because – super jaffy tip – it gives you unlimited data rather than only 1GB a week.

Are the speeds/stability same as connecting to UniWireless??
:D :) ;D :D :) ;D :D :) ;D :D :) ;D :D :) ;D :D :) ;D

Either ask your tutor during tute or book an appointment with the lecturer. Don't send an email though as chances are you will be ignored.

Pretty much all MAST subjects (and most subjects in general) have a few allocated sessions of consultation hours each week where you can get some one-on-one help from a lecturer/tutor.

Feel free to shoot me a PM pertaining to getting to M.Eng through the Environments course, or the Envs/Eng courses in general.

Thanks! I have to undertake some MAST subjects in first and second year to satisfy the pre reqs for my post-grad pathway. Does anyone know how students who got mid 30s for methods are doing in these MAST classes?

How you went in high school is not a good indicator for how you'll do in uni. Just study consistently and youll do fine.  :)

Did anyone get the Co-op bookshop membership that is $25? How long does the membership apply for and is it worth it? And what is the ME bank card that's joined with the membership card?

Do any of you guys know of anyone doing the B.Biomed and was able to go on exchange to an Asian country (more specifically, Korea/japan)? I'm really keen on exchanging to one of these countries but it seems like getting subjects approved will be impossible.  :-\

Most uni students I know have one. If you buy one textbook it pays for itself immediately (you shouldn't buy textbooks new from the coop anyway.) They sell a lot of lther things (including readers, subject manuals, lab books,) so it'll pay for itself soon enough anyway.

So yes, worth it.
