Try enrolling in everything first except Business Finance. Then once enrolled in all your other subjects, go back and enrol in Business Finance. See if that works.

Anyone has any comments/reviews/materials about ASIA10001 - Language and Power in Asian Societies? Couldn't find a review on it.

Is there a major difference between College Physics: A Strategic Approach and the international edition of the same book? I'm looking to buy the textbook for PHYC10007.

Nearly always the international edition is the same book. There might be a different cover (it might be a softcover,) some chapters might be in the wrong order, and the order of end-of-chapter questions are probably randomised. Occasionally, the book is in black and white, and it may be on lower quality paper.

There's always a substantial discount - if it's big, go for it. Although you probably don't need the textbook. Just borrow it from the library when you need it, or photocopy the pages (exercises) you need.

Hello
I had a class cancellation so I changed it to a different time that I didn't really like. However, the cancelled class is still displayed on the timetable and I can move back into it. What does this mean?

For BCMB20005 Techniques and Molecular Science in semester two...

"BCMB20005 Techniques in Molecular Science: Students enrolled in this subject before the application deadline listed above and who have an H2A or above in CHEM10006 (Bachelor of Biomedicine) or both CHEM10003 and CHEM10004 (Bachelor of Science) are guaranteed a place in the subject."

The deadlines listed are ROUND 1: Sunday 11th January 2015 and ROUND 2: Late May - Sunday 5th July 2015

Will I still be eligible for the guaranteed place if I missed this first round deadline?

THANKS

It sure looks as if round 1 is for sem 1 and round 2 is for sem 2
So if you want to do sem 2, you should be fine enrolling in the round 2 time
But yeah, do ask

What do you guys think of two 3 hour practicals in one day? yay or nay?
It's for CHEM10006 & BIOL10002 and I know Chem happens at varying weeks but just in case I happen to have them both on the same day I'm wondering if it'll kill me

yes, yes it will kill you. I remember that first year chem pracs drained me, especially if we were really rushed at the end.

I did and it was fucking terrible man. Lesson leart: never put pracs on the same day.

As said above, the chem pracs were pretty intense because you had to do the prac and the write up at the same time. Following up with bio not much later is guaranteed to make you touch on the border of insanity
