Ok this is aimed at students currently or have in the past studied some kind of enigineering and has had exposure to CAD and/or CFD software. So I was wondering what program Monash and RMIT use? And wether you prefer that program or would rather another one. Also how much you had to pay for it, as in did the university make it cheaper or you get say a certain time period free or what the conditions are/how it is done.
Finally does anyone know of any good FREE cad programs out there that are proper solid CAD programs and not meshing. I have used very basic mesh wiring programs like sketchup, (and yes I know it is nothing compared to what you would use and it is not for calculations, basically just for looks) and was wondering if there is anything I could get to say practice on while I'm bored and need a break from yr12.
