Definitely! An A is still pretty good once you think about it.

my friend last year got B+ on midyear and still ended up with a 40, that said, he must of ripped the end of year exam

@Wez, its hard to say, because for all you know it may have been 1 mark off a B+, that said, I think 40 would be achievable, but you would need to absolutely blitz your exam.

In psychology another one of my friends got B+ on midyear, a+ on end of year [although his SACs in unit 3 were higher than the psych prize winner, not sure about unit 4], and ended up with a 43, unless I got people mixed up or something.

Not sure if this is really applicable to Accounting where A+ was 75/90, as opposed to psych 70.5/91 :S
I think its possible, if this is your only 3/4 this year GO FOR IT, otherwise just work on your other subjects, no harm in letting accounting go into your bottom 2
