That's why it was hard. Because they picked out a 40min lesson, less than a dot point on the study design and allocated a gigantic percentage of marks to it. But stop complaining you got 13/15....the avg for the state was ~5. You smashed it.

@Bazza, Rohitpi: Argue whatever you want. My info comes from VCAA itself. Psych was changed because of it's perceived 'social science, easy' stigma. They've succeeded. I know many people who are scared of taking the subject now. Even more so after the midyear exam if not just the idea of writing an essay :P

lol, my methods teacher of last year helped WRITE the new study design, and she seemed to think that it was just routine, during a class discussion last year...

But regardless of the reason (although the 'routine' reason is most likely, otherwise they would have changed the subject 20 years ago) GOOD LUCK all psych students!

@Russ: my gut told me that sounded somewhat strange, but i'm sure you get the picture. As in one of the main reasons why i believe snake is iNerd is because rohitpi mentioned so. you know when your thinking changes or is influenced because somebody else implanted the thought in your head.... get me....?  ughhh i don't know if im making sense any more i give up

^^LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL its funny how psych is sooo incorporated in our everyday lives. after learning everything i have so far in this subject, i basically comment on my experiences using psych terms.

just recently i experienced taste aversion, and everytime i study, go to bed and wake up able to recall the information i studied the night before, i always think of REM sleep and how REM assists in your memory.

YeAH ikr? the sleeping after studying works wonders for me- prime evidence of the consolidation theory i'd say! I seem to always have a psych explanation for all my daily occurrences in life.. it's so nerdy but oh well - that's why it's such a useful subject :)
