Was the February Revolution spontaneous or organised?

Hello!

For an essay, I have to present a reasoned argument explaining whether or not the February Revolution was spontaneous or organised, with evidence. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find much actually evidence, pretty much only historians perspectives such as William Chamberlin simply stating it was one of the most "leaderless, spontaneous, anonymous revolutions of all time." Does anybody happen to know of any such evidence to support either side of the argument? Thanks in advance :)

I don't know whether this will be of any help, or whether you have already read it, but I read this book last semester that was great and had quite a few first hand accounts. Great for reference, can't remember off the top of my head what was said in regards to the February Revolution though. Sorry!

I can't give you any evidence as in stats - but I normally mention the main Bolsheviks being in political exile with Lenin in Switzerland during the Feb Revolution, geographically dislocated by the Eastern Front.

How could the Bolsheviks have rallied and or/organised the Feb Revolution of 1917 if their leader was exiled on the other side of a war zone?

Spontaneous; was largely fuelled by women protesting on International Women's Day over the shortage of food, some workers' strikes and the desertion of a garrison in Petrograd/St. Petersburg. Little involvement from revolutionary parties.

It was spontaneous.
There was nobody leading the revolution.
It was merely the Tsar's incompetence and the fact that Russia was on the verge of not only political & social collapse, but economic.

definitely spontaneous,
most of the political parties were exiled from Russia

it was spontaneous but Trotsky later tries to insinuate the Bolsheviks had a role by saying that it was the result of the "conscious and tempered workers educated for the most part by the party of Lenin" despite Lenin stating beforehand that they were unlikely to see a revolution in their time
