I'm doing methods but i can't work it out because i havent finished probability/i suck at methods.

So i was wondering what the min/max Z-scores are for an

A and A+

Last year i got
SAC1        SAC2         EXAM
0.7            0.9              1.45
(A)             (A)             (A+)
which gave me a 39
So i just eneeded to know if they were low, medium or highs.

thanks :D

The three numbers you've described ( the 0.7, 0.9, and 1.45) are found by taking your score, subtracting the mean from it, and then dividing by the standard deviation.

So, for SAC1, your score was 67.6 + 0.7(20.4) = approx 82, so a low A. (A = 81-89)

For SAC2, your score was 69.2 + 0.9(19.8) = approx 87, so a medium A. (A= 83-91)

For the exam, your score was 100.7 + 1.45(33.3) = approx 149, so a low A+ (although the A+ grade range is quite large here) (A+ = 143-180).

I'm not too good at estimating the general Z-scores required for a particular letter grade, so perhaps the other members can help you with that a bit more.
