If UMAT doesn't go well, remember there's always ATAR/UMAT stream and ATAR stream and UNSW that takes ATAR/UMAT too (ur overall can be even as low as 54 if ur ATAR was 99.95), and also dont forget JCU that doesn't take UMAT!

Which begs the question, surely there's a known cutoff for JCU?

And I'd think my chances for ATAR or ATAR/UMAT stream would be slim :P. Do you reckon they'd be roughly the same as UNSW?

Just to summarise everything as we wait, I've attached the graphics for those of you who may have Qs about percentiles and how they work, as well as the requirements needed for each uni!

Credits go to vexx and MSO for publishing these :)

Remember, the overall score is an average of your 3 scores from the 3 sections.

Overall

Section 1

Section 2

Section 3

didn't expect that for section 3, i thought it would have been lower,
seeing as only 20~% prepare for the umat, whilst the rest get p-owned by s3
but then again, since its %iles, it makes sense

btw, the 'score' means %age right? or is it something else

roughly estimating from the graph above, it seems you need about 85-90 % in all three sections to get around the monash cutoff

of course you can smash one section and bomb another. etc.

i don't think ill get those 85-90% in section 2 or 1,  I might scrape it for section3. Sept 21'st is not looking great

Hmmm, well it's not certain. Supposedly, I think it's meant to be raw score, but the whole weighting process isn't publicly known, so who knows...

Don't lose faith! Just remember, look at how much higher the score is from the 80th-90th percentile, and then how many it is from the 90th to 100t percentile. Absolutely ace one section, and it definitely helps out a lot!

I just mean that for each section, they would weight questions in order to get these lovely graphs and you would get a final score. Since we don't know how weighting works, you can't really estimate a score...
