That is my prompt and intro, please feel free to criticize, annotate or even use

“The human spirit grows stronger by encountering conflict”

Human spirit can be defined as the inner soul, soul or real self of a human being. It is also the part of you that wants to survive and keep on living. The famous words from JFK, “I am certain that after the dust of centuries has passed over our cities, we, too, will be remembered not for victories or defeats in battle or in politics, but for our contribution to the human spirit”, assert the value of human spirit that is present in our lives. During times of conflict, the human spirit becomes strained in both positive and negative directions. People clashing in terms of culture, religion, ideologies or neighbourhood disputes may cause a person’s real self to materialize or manifest itself. Alternatively, the pressure and stress may cause the human spirit to fail and implode.

I've been told to avoid using "you" in introductions... maybe replace with 'one' or 'an individual'
