Yeah just make sure you control the conversation, like general convo if they start off with something you dont like then try swaying it towards a topic you're better at. But by then i hope i know everything off by heart, i really need to memorise this....
Any tips on memorising it?
I think i just need to practice. Whenever someone throws me an unexpected question, i kind of freeze up and mindblank.
In terms of memorisation, I think practicing orally is the key. However, if you can't always access someone to practice with, I think that trying to make up your own conversations help. Think of the most complex way that an examiner might ask a question and mentally then verbally prepare a response. Sounds a bit weird though. Take a look at this link:
http://lanesensei.podomatic.com/Or you could possibly make some kind of mind-map showing all possible questions, responses and links in responses. It's good to think that you might be able to lead the examiners with linking questions, but i think it's reassuring to have it actually mapped out.
But if you're running out of time, like I am, make sure you actually finish your script first!
