Past VCE Exams

For the majority of subjects the vcaa website only has exams from 2001 or 2002 onwards. Does anyone know any sites that have the vce exam from the 90s? How about the old HSC papers in vic? For some subjects I reckon if I look back far enough it's basically the same style of question with different wording. Good to use for a revision tool anyway. So does anyone know?

VCAA only provide exams down to 2002 on their website. They give a CD each year to your teacher with exams from ~1996 - 2001 though.
2010 : Accounting
2011 : Methods (CAS) | Chemistry  | Physics  | English Language  | Specialist Maths

2012: BCom/BSc @ Monash!

pretty obvious statement here, but the courses have changed dramatically over the last 20 years (lol)

for example, for spesh my english teacher randomly had a spesh study guide lying around. when i read through it the shit they were doing was nuts.

Just out of interest, what subjects are you thinking of?

I'm thinking maybe humanities subjects possibly they might be useful (though only because I don't know much about them - I'd imagine a lot of stuff would have been cut and added in over the decades).

For physics, chemistry etc. it's pretty easy to see how the course has changed just from the exams provided on the VCAA website. Same thing for media and IT.

I'd say that pre 2002 exams would be too out of date for the majority of subjects.

im thinking about primarily methods. for humanities subjects theres obviously going to be new info coming in and out that needs to be updated but for something as concrete as specialist or methods i was hoping there would be exams lying around. of course I know that not every question will be applicable to current study designs but they could easily just find a question from an exam paper from 25 years ago and put it into next year's exam paper! i'm probably looking too much into it and i'm not a fan of trial exam papers simply because they are just 'trial' so thats why i was keen on the vce/hsc papers pre 2002

your better off doing trials,
if vcaa had the habit of digging up q's from old papers, im sure someone would have found out by now, and circulated it to start a somewhat true rumour - which hasn't happened
it's better to do trials and study for the subject than trying to get lucky with the questions on the exams
now if you've finished all the trial exams and want extra papers, that's a different story i guess

I looked at a 1967 NSW Extension Maths paper - it's essentially the same stuff as what we're doing now

I swear to god it's better than doing freakin Essential questions which are absolutely ridiculous =.=

you reckon you could give me some pages with hard questions from essentials? Like, i've done a few of the chapter reviews and they seemed just like maths quest?
Im talking about methods btw

Essential questions aren't hard, they're just freakinnn boring as! D:
Like seriously, they're so repetitive, their pages have yellow borders, their font is boring, it's just everything about them
Even the way they word things is uneccesarily complex, like grr =.=
