Has everyone started studying for the accounting exam????

not shizzzzzzz man we have like 1 month till exxxaaaaaammmmmssss. I'm just spaming practice exams and correcting my mistakes.

I've gone over the unit, made summaries etc. and done half an exam! Haha. Probably a good idea to start soon!

There's still a little over 5 weeks til the exam, plenty of time to get into a study routine!

I myself have just about summarised the unit and I will be beginning practice exams and working on the structure of my theory questions

My school has a 3 week holiday (thank god) so it's been helpful for me to complete all my notes and rip out 5 prac exams including a trial today (INSIGHT 2011 - don't do it unless you want to be looking at a mistake they made for about 20 minutes and asking yourself 'WTF do I do?')

i started doing practise exams at the beginning of september and done like 20 so far, planning to do 10 more and then just learn from my errors. Do u guys find the analysing ratios the most difficult part of the exam??? i seem to always lose marks on this area.

Oh wow! Thats heaps! Well done! And yeah, I find the ratios bit (especially linking them) the most tricky too.

the one where you had to determine cost of sales with the use of the stock control ledger account but you also had a sales return where you only knew the amount the stock was sold for
so you had 2 unknown figures, (cost of sales on the debit and credit side)

i always make some stupid error in recording though which is disappointing.
