SEAS Impact Statement/Statement of support

Just today I finally finished off the statement of support for cat. 3 but apparently someone said I might have done it wrong..

Do you think its fine that I mainly addressed how the circumstances had affected my family and me as a person? I only stated that " In summary, these factors are what have impacted my abilitly to blabla and therefore affected my performance in school tasks and assessments" at the end?

My circumstances required a fair bit of writing and my counselor agreed too but am I wrong to only address that and not a lot of the educational impact??  Would the selection officers be a little reluctant to consider me?

Also I'm applying for cat.4 and receive the family tax benefit A. I already paid my referee for the statement of support, it costed a fair bit and would be highly difficult to do it again..Should I be worried?

Your help would be highly appreciated!
Thank you!

I did mine already, it's supposed to focus on the impact on your education more than your personal life, though you can talk about family and personal impact and then how that in turn affects your ability to study/concentrate/etc. You're allowed to edit the statement on myinfo, so you can go back and change it if you want.

Ignore me, I'm wrong - I thought you were talking about the IMPACT statement, not statement of support. My bad.

OH WAIT SCRATCH EVERYTHING I SAID - you can edit the statement of impact, but not the statement of support I don't think. Everything I said before was about the statement of impact, I think it's ok for the support one to be more about affect on family, etc.

EDIT: I can't view the actual statement of support on MyInfo, just a thingy on the SEAS page saying that it's been submitted by the Dr. He sent me a copy, so I've read it and it's really good, but I just wish I had more confirmation that it has gone through to VCAA. Can anyone view the statement of support if it was submitted online?

My referee is a counselor and I think she said money is required for any documentation from her as well as being with her for a session. She's done the same thing with previous students so I trusted her...hmm  :-\.

Haha thank you! I guess I should be fine as long as I'm clear and concise in both.

Thanks all

That was a Dr. *end sentence* He... lol.
Umm, a while ago, it's gone through on the system in that it says that it's been submitted by the Doctor, but it doesn't show up on the SEAS receipt/I can't seem to access it... Is that just how VTAC roll?
