How hard are you willing to work for your 3/4? And what subject?

Do some work in the summer holidays + work hard throughout the year and you'll be fine.

get serious over the summer holidays and maybe even start now on topics you
think you are not strong at and keep it up until you think you are happy with where you are :D

You will be fine, as long as you do the work, and ask for help if required.
I did nothing in Unit 1+2 either, but i'm doing quite well with unit 3+4

I can honestly say I have no clue about anything in unit 1/2 of Methods.

Only some Probability.

It depends on how bad your 1/2 is, honestly, they're pretty related, so you'll have to be solid in 1/2 methods, you don't have to be aceing it, but you would have to know what everything is on about, and you will need to have basic skills such as graph sketching (exponentials, logs, circular fns, polynomials) as well as solving equations, finding derivatives and antiderivatives...etc

lol well funny story ok after a year of doing no maths at all, i decide to take up methods in yr 12. what a complete joke I can't believe I actually done it. I was able to understand like the first two chapters  so if I can do that with like zero background knowledge, I'm sure you can pull things through.

Hard work goes a long way, so if you are willing to work hard over the next few months on Methods 1/2 content, you should be find for 3/4. I started Methods 1/2 this year not being able to use the quadratic formula properly x.x Ikr? But with hard work, I am now working on Methods 3/4 and Specialist work to challenge me. Don't give up. Methods 1/2 has some pretty unique content, so you just got to look at the information from different perspectives at times. Good luck.

In all honesty, I struggled in unit 3 and 4 methods. I aced units 1 and 2 yet I don't know what went wrong.
It could be the fact that our 3&4 methods teachers aren't too fantastic though... So it really takes a lot of hard work!

Depends on your mathematical ability really.

if you're someone who can bludge a whole year then pull A's/A+'s after ample study in like exams or something, then it shouldn't be too hard.

On the other hand, if you aren't that good at Methods in the first place, it depends on how much work you do
