So basically I am one of those students that sucks at English... Never been a good writer and my sac marks have been escalating up and down ranging from D+ - B+. Does anyone have any advice on how I can improve my writing and on how to engage in studying for the end of year exam? Btw what am I looking at for my SS in general if i keep this up in the end of year exam??

D+-B+ is quite a range. Maybe you should be more specific as to what you think you will get in the exam. The exam is 50%, it will make or break for most cases. Honestly, in VCE English, you don't need to be a good writer to succeed, although it does help. I think too many students get undermined by that rationale. It is quite late now, but I think it will help if you read more study guides, read more A+ samples, do more detailed plannings on the topics and be selective with writing full essays. Good Luck.

Thanks for the input :D
Hmmm yeah, I'm pretty sure why I got bad sac marks was because I went off topic most of the time and my points weren't that great.
So, better start studying and make term 4 worth it  >:(

I remember having 2 weeks of term 4. Not much of a term 4 to be honest lol. Just my two cents, but this should help. Underline the keywords of every prompt or question you do. Make sure you include those keywords in every topic sentence of your paragraphs. The last few sentences of your paragraph should also include some of those keywords when you tie everything back in. That should keep you in tune with the prompt. Good Luck.
