You may have to apply for special consideration. You might be able to get a derived examination score or whatever it's called. I hope you did well on the GAT...

First off, ring up your dental clinic. Explain your situation to the receptionist and see if they can re-schedule your appointment to an earlier time. If this isn't possible, ask if they can refer you to a different dentist.
If neither of these options are possible, then you should confer with an appropriate health professional on how to alleviate/ minimize the pain.
I wish you all the best :)

yeah, special consideration would be the way to go, get onto your teacher/vce coordinator and explain the situation.

the good news is that after you have them removed, the pain should go down quite a bit after a couple of days.
stay away from foods with little bits even if they're soft like broccoli, as it can get stuck in your gums and be really irritating.
Only soup for you!

I have not been able to study the past 5 days...fallen behind my holiday studying routine.. It feels like someone is drilling into my jaw 24/7  the pain is severe. No medication works. Have i got the worst luck or what lol... :( I want to sit the exam and do the best I can do.. I have a consultation with a dentist tomorrow but it will take multiple visits for the x-rays and all.. as for amy GAT results I did everything well but the english part.. stupid mistake didnt think i would ever need it..

Watch out, if you get special exam conditions you can't ask for a derived exam score for the same circumstance. You have to pick one or the other. If the special exam conditions are inadequate you can end up screwed.

There's always the option of repeating Year 12, if you feel that you have been severely disadvantaged

If you've already got them removed then the pain should dramatically subside in 2 weeks. I can't believe medication isnt working for you :S it worked for me but i took it like 3 times a day as well as constant cold packs! ALL THE TIME.
cold packs helped. also drink and eat cold food. dont try eating any hard food n dont open your mouth too wide and dont talk too much lol. definitely apply for seas. go to the dentist in person to quickly get the statement of support.

I am seeing a specialist tomorrow.. i spent the whole day today going around the city for a specailist who could take me in... no normal dentist would operate on me due to the teeth being to close to a certain vain :( nothing i have tried helps with the pain
