Our valedictory is on the 26th so from then on we aren't required at school, which is awesome because my birthday just happens to be on the 27th. No school on my birthday! :D

Instead of having SWOTVAC earlier, our school has two days of dressing up, and then a third day as our "Last day of Yr 12 classes". So officially our swotvac period starts on the 28th October, but it doesn't really count since there's a compulsory English prac exam and therefore isn't technically private "study".

We have muck up week from Monday the 24th to Thursday the 27th. And then SWOTVAC begins from there.

Not a fan of the whole week, it's already taking a chunk of my time trying to organize costumes an whatnot ..

Formal is just after the last exam, graduation is a couple of days after we get our ATAR. I prefer it that way, our school used to have graduation before we got our ATAR, so they had to guess who would dux and get the highest scores in each subject, and it didn't always turn out that well. Also gives us a chance to say our final goodbyes :(

I assume the names are interchangeable i.e graduation = valedictory, that's how I understand it..

I'm not complaining, and it does serve the yr11s right who completely prioritised their 3+4s over their 1+2s as the exams are right after. Similar to last year's timetable and a good idea imo.

Serves them right? err that's what they should be doing. Screw your 1/2s and focus on your 3/4 - especially with the little time remaining!
