A lot of people I speak to who have finished VCE, always say "If I could VCE again I would do so much better"

So for the people who have already completed the VCE, if you were to do it again what would you do different ?

I haven't finished yet, but I already know what I would have done:
-Start practicing English from the start of the year!
-Make sure study starts before the 4 weeks before exams
-Not neglect English
-Try harder in SACS
-English

Should have done english language in year 11 instead of environmental science so that year 12 wasn't just about one subject and completely neglecting the rest. :|

As said previously, ENGLISH EXSITS, YOU CAN'T IGNORE IT FOREVER, it will just come back to bite you in the end. As much as you hate it and it hates you, you must be friends with it for one last year  :'(

I would do Physics, Methods and Chemistry instead of Drama, Psychology and History. As much as I enjoy all of those subjects, the science subjects are ultimately much more useful for me in the future :P

I have no regrets in study habits, other than learning a 3/4 last year that I knew I had "talent" or "enthusiasm
About Philosophy

When I see a youth thus engaged,—the study appears to me to be in character, and becoming a man of liberal education, and him who neglects philosophy I regard as an inferior man, who will never aspire to anything great or noble. But if I see him continuing the study in later life, and not leaving off, I should like to beat him - Callicle

LOL funny thing about English..its just such a pain in the arse. Probs I would choose a school with more subject options, study right from the beginning( summer) not choose further maths, Not have given maths up during yr 11 and picked up on methods. I mean, further is such a useless subject..not needed for anything and so bloody annoying. At least if you can suffer with methods it would get you somewhere in Uni and give you more options. that was my mistake of my years.

This question always seems to pop into my mind but I would really hate my life if I had to do VCE again.

- Would have studied more consistently throughout the year.
- Would have prepared my exam notes a hell of a lot earlier.
- Would have bothered to study Indonesian more than twice a week.
- Wouldn't have joined Reddit + 4chan.
- Probably would have tried to move to a better school.

Early in Year Nine at the latest. Just kidding.

If you're confident you have strong grip on the course, you can be mostly finished at the end of semester one. Finish/skim through everything once at the start of the year. Then in semester one, you go through Unit 3 with your school solidifying your knowledge. Over the middle holidays, complete any Unit 3 notes you need to do, and focus on writing up a reasonable set for Unit 4. Then as you do semester two clean up/modify your notes, and boom by the third set of holidays you'll be ready to hit up practice exams.

If I could do VCE again I would have done it like that.
