On the contrary, overall I really enjoyed VCE Physics and am really glad that I did the subject.

The subject is full of flaws, but it isn't as bad as everyone seems to be making it out to be (for me anyway).
laseredd, you will understand what we mean when you do 3/4 Chemistry, Methods and Specialist next year and have something fun to compare it too. But then you may be suited to physics (and from the looks of the posts on here you are). You have a very special gift, the ability to enjoy (or for us tolerate) VCE physics.

Seconded (thirded?), but then it is VCE physics. I supposed a little bit of maths is better than drawing.
I'd take random folios anyday
Seriously? You would rather work hard on something that you are not interested in (i.e. "random") than be bored plugging pointless numbers in formulas?

EDIT: hey you changed you physics score from 10+ to 15+?

haha wasn't it always 15+ ?
I thought he changed it to +10 the day after mid-years, I may be wrong though.

-Do Uni Maths instead of Physics

Yes! Me too! It looks so much more interesting than phsyics!

Yeah I think I should have done uni maths this year too - better a 5.0 or 5.5 increment than a 3.X or (if I'm lucky) 4.X... :-\
Me too! Physics is seriously the worst subject I've ever taken...

Haha I think physics would be better than art...
Seconded (thirded?), but then it is VCE physics. I supposed a little bit of maths is better than drawing.

No, I'm fine with drawing. It's the essays... *inserts rant about having to write about artists no one cares about/has ever heard of*

And Rohitpi, no I think physics would be better. Try getting ~2-4 hours sleep each night for a week because of it, and then you'll appreciate physics.

I think studying art actually puts a lot of people off from the subject after they realise they have to write essays and it's not just all drawing. Oh the memories of that art essay that my teacher gave me an D+ for in Year 9.
But seriously Physics is worst than my frees in the library now. It's ironic how our school has the number one Physics teacher in the state but also the worst physics teachers....
Thank god Physics is my last exam.
And sorry for continuing this huge as chain of quotes :P

A lot of people I speak to who have finished VCE, always say "If I could VCE again I would do so much better"

So for the people who have already completed the VCE, if you were to do it again what would you do different ?
I would be more careful with how much time I spend "addicted" to Atarnotes.... not that that is a bad thing :)

I prefer physics over methods any day, methods is just so lame and boring if you're doing spesh. Physics is really fun if you think about all the theories behind all the equations instead of just plugging in numbers (too bad VCAA fked it up)

Methods lets me smile after i finish a practice exam.

As does spesh for me. I don't know why spesh is easier than methods for me, maybe that's because of stupid probability!

EDIT: WOW this thread is off-topic.

I find them about the same... methods I hated probability, but spesh I hate vectors (though surprisingly I'm not that bad at them anymore :P)...

Plus you do physics the "proper" and "real" way in spesh instead of counting boxes. C'mon VCAA, fix physics like it should be!

Physics should not be in spesh... they should stick to pure calculus :D
