VCAA old study design exams

I was wondering if it was worth doing the VCAA exams from 1997-2005 for Unit 4.
I was told that little has been changed with the new study design in terms of Unit 4 and that this would be preferential.
I will be doing the VCAA 2006-2010 exams, but should I next do the exams mentioned above or instead do ones from practice exam companies?

Thanks in advance.

It should be fine for Unit 4, things haven't changed too much. If there is anything that is "unheard" of by the textbook, just skip it and/or ask here on VN. :)

I've done 2002~2004 ones and I found most questions relevant to unit 4.
But I think 1997~2001 is going too far back but that's just me so...
2010:
Mathematical Methods CAS 3/4 [41->45.8]

2011:
English Second Language 3/4 [46->47.1], Chemistry 3/4 [42->45.6], Specialist Maths 3/4 [38->49.2], LOTE [33->40.9], Biology 3/4 [41->42]

aggregate: 195.9
2011 ATAR: 99.25

2012-2015: Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours)

i agree- 2002 to 2004 are still ok to test knowledge.....
2010 is the best though!!
