It's not that bad when you compare it to the UMAT, even though the UMAT is 30 mins shorter than the English Exam, you're generally thinking more intensively during it, so I guess doing a lot of timed UMAT papers helped me train my endurance, but then and again, I'm someone who really enjoys English and I often write poems/short stories for competitions and also just for fun, so I guess I don't mind the Exam so much

Even though all my English practice exams have been typed so far, I do realise that it is actually more physically tiring to be writing, I think it's just the way you sit, your posture and the more intense concentration you have when writing that makes you more tired than when typing, but I'll defs try writing a couple of English essays by hand before the exam ;P
BTW: does a stopwatch take longer than the actual time? i know its a stupid question, but using a clock time flies but the stopwatch feels like forever..? Anyone?
Why don't you run them side by side and find out?
